HUSSAIN SAGAR

Hussain sagar is a one of the important place in Hyderabad. It is heart shaped lake . Hussain Sagar, often referred to as the "Tank Bund," is a prominent lake located in the heart of Hyderabad. This historic water body holds immense cultural and historical significance, making it a popular tourist attraction and a cherished landmark of the city.

Hussain Sagar was built in 1562 during the reign of  Ibrahim Quli QutbShah, the founder of Hyderabad. Spanning an area of approximately 5.7 square kilometers, it is one of the largest man-made lakes in Asia. The lake was primarily constructed to meet the water needs of the city and to provide irrigation for nearby agricultural lands
